Domaine des Roches Neuves Saumur-Champigny La Marginale

I was expecting this wine to be past its peak but was happily surprised. There was a little bottle stink that blew off after 10 mins and the mustiness turned into the most beautiful floral nose of intense roses and violets. There was good fresh red fruit behind this as well along with soil notes. The combination was just beautiful and I couldn't stop coming back for smell after smell.
