Hints of oak, tobacco, vanilla and earthy tones on the nose along with berries. The palate is tannic with medium but leaning towards full bodied. It’s smooth and has a good finish that lasts for a bit.

Bright and energetic in style this is upfront and approachable. Black cherry and dark briar fruit top notes emerge over rosemary, chocolate, and oak spice aromas. Shows nice weight, a lovely hint of bottle age, and closes with length and verve on the tightly packed finish. Tasty and way too easy to drink.

At $18 from Aldi, this wine boasts some great qpr. Very smooth with a hint of oak, cherry, and spice

Good QVR. Slightly too acidic to be very good. Nevertheless went fast at family dinner which is usually a good sign.
