In my cellar since release. Decanted at 4:30pm and tasted initially, but mostly between 6-11pm. Translucent medium to dark garnet with a lightly bricked edge. Some noticeable oak influence on the nose with vanilla, spice and cedar, then sweet cherry and anise. Medium to full bodied with a chewy rich mouth feel, seems a bit higher in alcohol than the labeled 13.5%. Seems a bit more on the modern side but very well made and balanced. Flavors show some game …

Drank with Sandors and Cooperbergs. Nice brunello but I've had a lot better. Noel preferred this over the Prunotto Barolo.
