Very typical flavors and aromas of Franc, cocoa and rose petals, with lovely Chambord flavor and texture. Impressive wine, and certainly ready to drink. Tannins seemed all smoothed down. My first taste of one of the Pott wines. Definitely need to track down some more (saving my pennies also).

Drank over two days. Nose of hay and wildflowers. On the palate, thick, perfumed fruit with notes of mocha and pencil lead. I'm not well versed in Cabernet Franc but this was tasty and interesting.

Last bottle of the evening. Pop and pour. Finished the bottle over about 2 hours. Great dark Purple color. The nose dominated by dark cherries and some smoke. This can be consumed over next 5 years if stored properly

Decanted 5 hours and still a lot of tannic grip but enough fruit comes through to make it enjoyable. Big cherry liqueur, cassis, and chocolate with a tannic backbone. Will pick up a point or two in a few years.

Pop and pour. Finished the bottle over about 5 hours. Purple in color. The nose has cassis, dark cherries, some herbal notes and slight smoke. Nice texture. On the palate, this has good fruit. Cassis and cherries. Some char. Good acidity. No hurry, this is still quite youthful.

Excellent bottle of Can Franc. Needs time, but with air is great now. Purple in color. The nose is deep with leather, black raspberries, black cherries, slight tarragon note. On the palate, great, lush texture. Delicious over two nights. Better on day 2. Black cherries, cassis and leather. Long finish. Great wine.

Nice dark fruit with good balance but not giving up much. Seems closed at the moment. Would hold off for a few years on the next one.

I wanted to like this more but, despite a good attack, the mid palate was like visiting a black hole, followed by a finish that was less than I wanted. Can time improve this? We'll see.

Very structured, I suspect my score will go up after this baby sits for five years. This cab franc could be mistaken for a cab sauv. Great wine
