Geschickt Pinot Noir

Big note of dark, complex reduced maple syrup in the nose on opening. Really intriguing. Some roasted coffee beans lurking about behind. It’s ephemeral, though. After a minute or two, those dark notes are gone. Palate is rich, nice acidity, sweet blackberries and black cherries with a little raspberry on top. Delicious, food-friendly. Good stuff! Had that nose lasted I’d have gone 90+
