Beckham Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir Sophia's

This was a thrilling and delightful Pinot. The nose is incredibly open and lush - beautifully redolent of cherry. The wine is resolved but the pure fruit is youthful. Delicious and perfect with the richer fish selections on an omakase.

Red currant in color. Clear. Nose of strawberry, cherry, cranberry? Palate is high acid, med alcohol and tannin, cranberry and strawberry, hint of vanilla. But didn't think it was French oak. Med bodied. Nice expression of a Willamette Pinot. Easy.
