Seemed prematurely oxidized - not gone, not at all, but no freshness here, just some flabby fruit, lack of structure - could have been an off bottle, not sure - and not in the mood to discuss this with the waiter. #BØF

brief notes, Armit at Claridge's T.....fresh and simple, clean, not an awful lot happening. Saline, earthy, like licking oyster shells. VFM.....RRP £23.00, feels worth £15.

12,5 abv Decanted in Erlenmeyer 1000 ml flask, and notes after 40+ minutes. This responded well to decanting- pale gold , aromatics of citrus and orange blossoms, wet stone/crushed shells but not chalky, palate is same, lifting, bright acid fills mid palate, medium plus length in the finish. Good QPR. Let this unwind in a decanter and don’t serve too cold and Bob’s your uncle
