Louis Guntrum Scheurebe

Not a variety I'm familiar with, a "lesser" German grape. Opened with no real expectations. Quite fruity, but in a confected sort of way on the nose. Quite acidic to start off with on the palate, but that soon gives way to a pleasant sweetness that stays just to right side of medium dry. A rather short finish.
