Had to Durand cork. Glorious wine. Golden yellow. Deeply fruity nose of tangerine and peach and faint mushroom. Mouth coating and dense on the palate. Acidity balances the rich flavors. I have one left and I’m not in a hurry. Surprised how good this $14.00 purchase from Garagiste is.

opened last of three. Be very careful of the cork; this one broke in half...nice hints of lemons at start. was better than previous two.

Not what I expected. Very fresh though lacking the salinity of many chablis. (what is the plural of chablis?) Not much in the way of the fuller flavors I usually see in age chablis. quite good though.

Another excellent bottle. Nice crisp acidity. Notes of crisp lemon, honey with a hint of vanilla cream. Nice crisp acid on the medium palate, with a wonderful long finish. I should keep these for a few more years!

One of these was corked. The second was good. This one, the third, is excellent. Nice acidity, with tangy springy lemon the palate. Nose of lemon, green herbs, hints of licorice/fennel, leading to a wonderful palate with medium weight. This is drinking quite well over a few hours. A good example of how chardonnay can be subdued and not a fruit or oak bomb. It has that nice stony briny lemony taste of some chablis. Glad I have a bunch …

Seashell, brine, apple, lime and stones. Long finish, very clean, but faded rather quickly.

Less aromatically interesting than previous bottles, but still a lovely lemon character.

Drank with Guiseppe and Sara. Steely, clean, flint like. Light. No oak or heaviness at all. Different thanw aht we're used to, but nice.

Drank over two nights. Night one this was steely but packed some nice flavor. Very good. night two it had lost some punch. Flavor had changed a bit. Not as good.

On the nose, slate, crushed stone, a little bit of lime and citrus. In the mouth, seashells, citrus, good acidity, a little a bit of yeast. My last bottle of these. For < $20 a great buy.

Workmanlike chablis. A little coarser than I'd have liked, but it wasn't expensive.

Beautiful, unpretentious chablis. Probably at peak now. Lacks the concentration of Chablisienne's 2002s, but vibrant and lively in a cool style. The nose is dominated by seaweed aromas. The mouth is highly acidic, probably the vintage characteristics showing. Long and prickly finish. Very nice balance, and clearly improving with air. Maybe not premier cru quality, but a lovely village in just the right place for monday night soccer on tv.

@Tyler -- great note, and here in 2010 it has picked up on the honey you were hoping for while retaining its seashore verve. @Buzz -- you ARE easy to please, but your note works for me even if it exaggerates the complexity a bit. CT users must already know to apply -5 to your scores (which actually makes this one a bit harsh) Overall -- a superb value that should drink well for another year or three. Turns a …

Steely nose with notes of minerals and lemon juice. Clean palate showing lemon, mineral and very light herb and caramel notes. Acidity is a bit biting but also mouth sticking. This seems ready to go to me as there is not a lot of concentration or depth. Great value.
