Fresh of a good intensity. taste: medium (+) acidity; sandy tannins; fruity and fresh. red cherries, crisp black cherries, red plums, ripe strawberries. Medium-length fresh finish. Very good QPR.

Alcohol and sour cherry on the nose, faint spiciness and honeysuckle. Pretty blunt on the palate with the cherry and alcohol showing through. Noticeable but not excessive tannin and high acidity. Honestly a fair deal at under $10 6/18

Pop and pour. Whether you like this wine or not will be determined by your palate. This is old world and lean. There is a fair amount of mushroom and pepper. This wine is acidic and does not have any round fruit to appeal to the masses. While I still enjoyed it without food, I imagine it would be better received with some food. For an $11 bottle, I am impressed. This is one of the better red "weekday wines" …

Pleasantly surprised by this spontaneous pick up on sale for $10. Shame I only picked up one. Briney, very old world and traditional approach to wine making. Coarse dry note complexity, medium light body - bright red fruit finish. Tart. Day two aromas of cinnamon and straw. Definite toasty cinnamon, a bit hot. Rushed through this one, could have been worth a more patient sampling. Definite value under $20! This wine does not drink modern...which is good for a change!
