Heart & Hands Auxerrois ESO Series

Previously tasted at the winery a year ago, this was my first from bottle. Strong lemon, along with tight and tart pear and apple and some floral notes on the nose. Between light and medium bodied (12.9% ABV) with mainly bright and tart pear upfront and then tart white apple with some rounded white apple through the middle. (Tasted at the winery). Very aromatic, showing soft pear, a touch of apple and lots of floral notes. Between light and medium bodied and starts off with white pear and actually shows a good amount of tartness and brighter notes upfront. Adds white apple through the middle where the wine opens up and broadens noticeably. There's good structure behind that with both acidity and tart white orchard fruits. Shows good balance overall and seems accessible for current drinking. May open …
