Chardonnay blend with baked apple, orange peel from the muscat and a bit of stone (Fiano?). Showing a bit more bitterness than I’d like. Maybe getting a little long for $19?

One of the heaviest bottles, with the longest punt, that I've ever seen! A curious blend of 60% Chard, 20% Fiano, 20% Wild Muscatel. Has a floral sweetness on top of the apply, slightly oaky Chard aromas. Similar on the palate. Diners liked this wine, but weren't entirely sure what it was until revealed

Lemon curd, lime zest, white flower and honey on the nose. More of the same on the palate, very fruit forward, lots of great acidity. As it warmed up moved towards melon, almond and honeysuckle. Midweight mouthfeel with medium melon and almond finish.

So this wine received a 99 (??!) from Luca Maroni, which sounds great. But was the 99 how many times he tasted it? Was 99 the number in the tasting line (he tasted 98 before this)? Was 99 the number of centimeters in the bottle's punt (this wine is a contender in my ongoing vitreous sweepstakes - empty the bottle weighted at least two pounds - some serious glass here!)? Maybe the 99 meant it was among the 99 wines …

Medium lemon. Peach, vanilla nose. Similar palate with stone fruits. Full bodied, long finish. Very good Chardonnay. 13.5% abv. I think that it should continue to drink well for 2/3+ years.

Light yellow. Great nose, lots of green apple, pine nuts, wet stone and lemon. Delicious dry mineral, lemon and apple flavour and a great fresh finish. I love this. Great QPR. The only downside is the bottle. It ways just over 32 oz empty.

An Italian white blend of Chardonnay, Fiano and wild Muscatel... this is an extremely subtle and yet seductive wine that pairs marvelously with lake fish and seafood.

White peach, pineapple, lemon, glycerin and subtle wax. Nice mouth feel but not enough acidity for me, tastes a little too flabby. The bottle is ridiculously heavy and the highly touted 99 pt. rating is from Luca Maroni, who no one should listen to ever.

Red apple and juicy yellow pear, vanilla, white flowers. Who rated this 99 pts? Very delicious fresh and pure but not on the level I thought it would be. Won’t buy again but pleasantly quaffable.

Ignore the 99 point sticker on the obnoxiously large and heavy bottle. Inside is some interesting juice...a blend that definitely works well. Lots of pear with some light citrus. Med acid and length. Cool blend.

fascinating blend of chardonnay, fiano, and muscatel. This blend works quite well, and is terrific with swordfish.

I concur with preceding notes. A nice get from Garagiste. A tasty chard base with a bit of a wildcard element - including some fruit, and i thought a bit of earth as well - from the blend. Glad I got 2.

The bottle claims this got 99 points. Um no. Maybe they got Pinot Paul to review. Tasted after 20 minutes of air. Starting to open. Lively apple and pear fruit. Good cut and delineation. Some nice rich fruit here. Interesting tang on the mid palate. Finishes clean with a hint of mineral.

Interesting blend of Chard (60%), Fiano (20%) , and Wild Muscatel.(20%). Chard characteristics to the fore (including a decent amount of oak), but the secondary varietals add texture and an alluring sweet tropical fruit aspect. Really great match for MC's tuna/corn/tomatoes/brown butter and other spice-infused rich fatty fish. Mystery deal from our friend in the northwest, and one of the better values I've seen recently from that source.
