Roger Salmont Coteaux du Layon

Soaked and crumbling cork. Deep yellow colour. Nose of furniture polish, honey and glycerine. Sweet entry, hazelnuts, wet wool and a clear line of acidity. Unbalanced as the beeswax polish wouldn't blow off and the oil too dominant. Two hours later, much better. The acidity really gives a structure to it. Disappointed that the honey notes I like so much are absent.
