Pepper Bridge Reserve

Popped and poured along with the 2006. Warm and welcoming nose - red currant and black cherry, clove, cigar box/tobacco, cedar, violet throughout. Expressive on the palate, open red and black fruit and integrated secondary depth. Round mid-palate, integrated structure, finishing with plush tannins. Excellent - in a prime spot.

Really pretty. Well integrated red and black fruit with oak and spice and earth and lots of other nuances. Long finish. Great on its own or with food. A definite star that is starting to shine.

Drank the rest of the bottle. Coravined in January. No real significant change. Very goodflavor, good palate feel again skirt steak, quite nice.

Decanted over 2 hours. Black cherries, black currents, blueberries, blackberries, and a hint of cocoa on the nose. Dusty earth and spice complements the rich fruit flavors. A big finish completes this excellent wine.

Dark color, coravin for 2 glasses with skirt steak, delicious fruit, some oak, spice, good palate feel.

Entering maturity. Brownish tinge at the rim. Black cherry, cassis, currant, smoke, vanilla. Well balanced with soft tannin. Good tannin structure. There's some character here too.
