As per my 2013 note verbatim (remarkable really when you think about it!). Superb viscous appley Riesling, dash of diesel etc etc. Not for keeping but for admiring. My last bottle.

Weird and wonderful. PnP at cellar temperature and came out a clear but deepish gold colour ?madirised. Not a bit of it. My wife had a suspicious sniff of her glass and unsolicited muttered the diesel word - encouraging after initial fears. Indeed there was the classic (very) old riesling aroma with a hint of baked spiced apple. In the mouth this was remarkable. Viscous and slightly honeyed, concentrated off dry fruit, apples, ripe nectarine. Age had removed any discernible …

Wine Education Service - Chase the Grape - Riesling (LSE) : A lovely mature nose with slight petrol notes. There's implied sweetness here with great refreshing acidity and wonderful length, I love it!
