Dark, fragrant, lots of black cherry. Tannins still powerful. Excellent at first pour and improved over the hour or so with dinner. It was particularly interesting how much better this was than a 2009 opened a week earlier...

A little cherry and some good stink at first. Really dropps off in flavor and concentration after an hour or so. Total dissapearing act. ($20)

Little barnyard nose on opening. This passed with time. Drank over 2 nights. Nothing exciting. Medium bodied wine of little dstinction but nothing really wrong with it. Will not buy more. Too many other wines available to drink this again. This was available as a Chairman's Selection at the Penn. LCB system.
