Lovely density of fruit - almost sweet - underlying green pepper

Good drinking wine for well balanced dishes, such as grilled meats, lightly seasoned Spanish and South American food.

To sweet . Was not good enough to finish the bottle. Disappointed

PnP. Garnet purple not saturated with a garnet rim. Huge aromas of macerated cherry plum and cassis with an earthy tarry note. Medium weight with silky tannins. Big fruit flavours noticeably sweet with a tarry note from unintegrated oak. Unbalanced and too sweet. Sealed and left for 8 days much more integrated and balanced still noticeably sweet but a much better wine. Not sure if I would buy again but +5

Very sweet on the palate, and concentrated - to my taste fairly undrinkable.

More concentration than the regular carmenere. Very full, delicate, rich palate. This has a real Amarone intensity and ripeness. But it also has a lovely balance and a nice elegance.
