A quaffable chenin blanc. Off-dry with green fruit and honey flavors. A simple, easy drinking wine.

I can't really *rate* this as I haven't had semi-dry Vouvray before, despite several past experiences with other Chenin styles. I also only had one glass, as most was enjoyed by my wife. I liked it, even if it was a little sweet for my taste with lots of honey tones and vague apricot/peach, but there was some decent acidity holding it together. Good, not necessarily my thing- also very inexpensive, and I'm looking forward to trying better-known Vouvray soon.

Nothing fancy, but a great daily drinker. Goes great with Asian food that may be slightly spicy. Slightly sweet but not cloying. “Crack and go” (screw top cap/no cork) means that you can have a glass and save for later. Fruit notes of passion fruit and pineapple. A Trader Joe’s find for about $10. We definitely always have a bottle ready. A fun wine to share with others or with family. A nice gateway to French wine.

Better than expected, paired reasonably well with blackened Chilean sea bass and blackened sea scallops, simple tropical fruit, perhaps a bit too much RS for my liking. Decent QPR!

Medium to full body. Citrus on the nose. Somewhat on the sweet side. I had it with roasted chicken but I think it would have paired better with something spicier. Fruity with enough acid to balance. A great deal for $8 at Trader Joe's!

Pale greenish yellow. Mild, artificial nose of pear, marker pen and melon. Some residual sugar but not as apparent as in many other similar Vouvrays, and more greenery, denser, drier acidity. Interesting, though not intriguing. Decent qpr.

Pale straw. Not perfectly clear. Aromatic. Stone fruit. Sweet and tart. Elegant and delicious.

LOVE this wine. Light, not too sweet or too dry, soft, easy drinking. Little bit of honey doesn't get weird when it warms up a bit. No bite to it either. Clean and fresh but with a tiny smidge of butter. I'm a huge New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc fan (light, fresh, grapefruit green). I do like Vouvrays as well so picked up a bottle and can't get enough. Bought at least 6 bottles and now need more.

The nose has apple, jasmine, gooseberries. Light bodied, floral, excessive but pleasant sweetness up front. Tart finish with notes of stones, mineral, apricot jam. Pretty nice.

Tasted blind. Pale straw in color. The nose is clean, medium in intensity, with aromas of ripe pear, lemon, grapefruit, tart peach, pineapple and white flower. The nose is youthful. The palate is off-dry, with honey, stone and a slight bitterness on the finish. The RS and fruit sweetness, however, is balanced by the medium (+) acidity. The alcohol is medium (12%). This wine is complex yet very approachable. It is drinking well now, but has plenty of aging potential.
