Exploring new waters, tasting single varietal of Alicante Bouschet. Deep opaque violet ruby colour. Eruption of layered dense aromas of violets, blueberries, blackberries, dry leaves, ethereal and tar hints, fresh herbs. Full body, concentrated and dense structure, new oak driven flavours, firm youthful tannins. Slight imbalance among sweet lush black fruit chocolaty notes and youthful sour hints with bitter touches. Hopefully maturity will sort this one out.
