Not so sure about this one. I suspect some manipulation. It’s probably, I hope, just them sneaking in some malolactic fermentation on a percentage of the batch to lower the attack of acid on the palate. We are missing the attack of expected lemongrass and gooseberry. Might also be some serious lees aging that went a bit errant. I guess it is not a disaster, and probably some like it.
