Nice, nice wine. Had two bottles, the first of which drank quite a bit more "butterscotchy" than this one did. This wine was still quite full malolactic, but for some reason (or perhaps it was the awesome, awesome food that it was enjoyed with), this wine went very well with the hummus and Greek appetizer. Served PNP. This wine had the aroma of butterscotch and a hint of kiwi and some lemon. The wine was butter from the start to finish. Good spice and acidity in the middle and on the finish, and perhaps a touch sweet. There might have been some kiwi or mango in there. There might have been some herbal notes like taragon. Wow! Huge oaky spicey fruit bomb of a Chardonnay. Caymus 40th anniversary cab embodied in a Cali Chard. Really over the top. Totally over the top. Serve ice cold and party. Um, otherwise kinda hard to recommend unless you like kinda delicious wines...

This was an absolutely excellent wine! The oak-vanilla nose and initial flavors, with a slightly fruity/oaky finish are delicious! We paired this with a sage prosciutto chicken breast smothered in a light cheese sauce.
