Closed, Took one full hour in the decanter to open. Lots of match sticks with lemon and oak. Reductive style, crisp palate, could be a bit creamier but very racy, 2014 showing its mettle.

Nice color. A lot of mineral on the palate. Everything in good balance.

Still reductive, but this shows great potential. Real energy and potential complexity here. All were impressed with this first taste of their wines. Let rest of another 2-3 years before revisiting.

12,5% alcohol. Luminous lemon yellow color. The nose feels very restrained and unexpressive with nuanced but very light aromas of ripe yet subtly green-toned white fruit, some tart green apples, a little bit of creaminess, hints of complex sweet oak, a touch of perfumed floral character and a whiff of vanilla custard pie. La Paulée de San Francisco - The Verticals (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA) : Tasting, brief note. 14/13 vertical. Reductive hints. Apple and lemon peel. Very good length, sneaky power, finishes strong. Very good potential.

Fabulous. All about wonderful shell like minerals with persistent fruit. Great volume of fruit. Wonderful finish.

Light straw gold, bright clarity. Aromas are pear, saline, dill and vanilla. Tastes are lime, pear, orange peel, and notes of sea salt. The body is heavy and the finish is long and mouthwatering.

A very fresh and pure nose of white peach, aniseed and rainwater. It is direct in the mouth and oozes almost Chablis like minerality. There's a strong line of citrus acidity and it finishes with excellent cut.

DIVA Burgundy Tasting (Maison Champy - Beaune) : Tasting, brief note. Very reduced. Apple and lemon with a tart finish, but I think this is distorted by the reduction, so tough to fairly assess.
