Should have known better than to buy a wine with a wax seal and a cork. A lot of va that refused to blow off. This one was for the sink. Pity.

Very unique and interesting flavour profile. Raspberry, apricot, vegetal elements, stalks. Intense and long. Fresh, nearly too strong acidity. Velvety and smooth, great length. Dark woody flavour aromas too. Great wine, superb drinking now. Just not my cup of tea.

Negociants Australia Portfolio Tasting : Stalk, earth, tar and vegetal notes. The palate has the same sweet/sour element at the Yarra Valley 2014. I think I'd struggle to drink a full glass of this even though it is somewhat interesting.

More sweet fruit and liquorice on the palate, where the Yarra had some savoury characters. Nice tannin structure. Acidity sits nicely, without being too prominent, and the aftertaste evolves nicely around it. I can see some regional …
