Tasted in Ischia. Pop and pour. Ruby garnet color. Nose of funk - farmer's socks. The funky aroma blows off to a core of dark fruit and wet earth. Dark cherry with cherry skin. Shows that earthy funk on the mid-palate. Some bitter tannins. Light finish.
