Enjoyed the first whiff and sip but it seemed muddled and chalky. Once it opened I got huge alcohol on the finish. Went ok with some mussels but was way outclassed by a Sancerre and a Touraine.

had in the mix w/5 whites blind. When 1st opened this was all alc, oak and dust. After some time in the bottle we got orange, pineapple, banana peel, with a very expansive mouth feel. Went pretty well with the fresh mussels but was muddle and overbearing on it's own to me

bumped it up from my previous notes. More round and balanced and I knew what to expect a lil more. Still a huge mouth feel with fresh herbs, oak and ripe fruit. Think I'm liking this more and more.

This wine is hard to gage. There is a ton of complexititles like vanilla bean, some cool sage notes, apricot syrup, tropical cornicopia, big pineapple syrup and a salty thing goin on. But un- fortunately there is a lot of oak and alcohol. Drank over two days and day two was much better then day one. Has a huge vibrant mouthfeel that is cool but it's just so big and borders on over ripe, too much alc and so on. …

Similar to other review. Was excellent with roasted vegetables as well as Thai ginger chicken.

Wonderfully versatile. This married really well with a spicy seafood dish and worked almost as well with some dessert cheese (white cheddar with mango and ginger). Palate was hints of apricot with some (not unpleasant) overtone of alcohol or (dare I say) gasoline. Very lush--would definitely buy this again.

Honeysuckle on the nose--a lush, fruity palate. This was great with both salmon and chicken-apple sausage.
