Lindeman's Chardonnay Batch No. 7 Gentleman's Collection

Further to Jan. 15, '25: Third of three more bottles. Consistent notes, continues to please as an oak-restrained everyday Cali Chard. A bit more golden than expected, but no complaints--solid nose and body and good mouthfeel.

Bought one as a test bottle from GO for USD 6 and then returned to buy 6 more; this is #1. Composition cork. Brown bottle. Medium gold; fragrant, some pineapple, bit of oak; white stone fruits, pineapple, some oak; good mouthfeel. Almost delicious everyday Chard. I realized that this is a Lindeman's Cali Chard (from Sonoma?)--though label seems more OZ cute than Cali style--and then wondered if it would show butter/oak--but, no, the oak was limited; glad to have more …
