Smockshop Band Columbia Gorge White Wine Moonhill Farm

Was this flawed? Did not taste flawed, but was heavily oaked in the classic domestic buttery chardonnay way and fairly low acid/flabby on the palate. We were all shocked this was a wine made by Nate?

Light gold. Smells of apples and lees, very appealing. Soft and silky on entry with classic Chardonnay acidity providing structure throughout. Finishes with freshness and a hint of phenolic bite. Lovely, and very drinkable.
