PnP, then drunk over dinner. Very nice and still young, with tannins which are still there, but well integrated. It seems to be in its drinking window now, but I expect further positive development for those who like tertiary notes.

Grande Barbaresco in un'ottima fase di invecchiamento, già con belle terziarizzazioni dei sentori in bella evidenza. "Goudroneggia" davvero con grande eleganza. Un'ottima finestra per goderselo. (Fase matura che secondo me potrebbe durare anche per anni, poiché il vino è davvero in perfetta forma, non mi pare di notare decatimenti negativi, i tannini sono risolti ma ha ancora una bella spina acida). Un altro ottimo Barbaresco imbottigliato da Rizzi, e un'annata, il 2008, che a mio avviso è stata davvero eccellente …

Aperto e servito in circa un ora. Naso sempre fine, floreale, di viola e rosa appena decadenti, con i frutti rossi- che emergono in seguito, un po' meno prorompenti. Balsamico di eucalipto Al palato un velluto elegante, ma diretto ed equilibrato. Fresco con tannini perfettamente risolti. Finale sempre molto elegante. Arrivato a piena maturità. Questa è la mia nota numero 1000 su CT. sono molto felice che sia la nota di un vino che amo particolarmente.

Very complete wine. Some bricking on the edge of the wine. Ruddy garnet color. Perfect melange of aged raspberry, saddle leather, dried rose, and a touch of pleasant VA. Really complete package, I believe it to be at plateau for now. Maybe a little cellaring will soften this out, but it's just so tasty now, that why would you want to. Aperto 2 ore prima di servirlo. Naso pronto, disponibile, di un floreale commovente, addolcito da frutti rossi, ciliegia selvatica, ed impreziosito da spezie esotiche dolci. Appena balsamico, liquirizia ed eucalipto. Al palato la freschezza giusta che convince subito a versare un altro bicchiere, il tannino si sente ma non da mai l’impressione di sovrastare una struttura che non sembra importante solo per il gioco dell’equilibrio tra le parti. Delizioso.

Naso fine, elegantemente floreale, viola e rosa appena appassita, e di frutti rossi- lampone, ciliegia selvatica, ribes. Balsamico e speziato, liquirizia, chiodo di garofano, tabacco. Al palato resta in equilibrio tra polpa, freschezza e tannini fini, fitti e torniti, in una sinergia armonica, in cui la freschezza conferisce una notevole bevibilitá. I was surprised that I did not need air before becoming approachable, 5 min in the glass and it was ready for business. It's a light Barbaresco, well balanced, good complexity with soft tannins and less acidity than I was expecting (another good surprise). Delicious right now, wish I had more in my cellar.

Heavy, dark aromas. Really hefty, and robust. Like stewed fruit and twigs. Softer on the palate, which is more mellow, with good acidity and ripe berry flavor. Tastes a bit like cereal too, but with fairly soft and round, without much linearity. Puckering acid on the finish, showing ripe fruity pebbles cereal and bitter green notes. Feels soft and a bit flabby.

Garnet exhaust with pink shades. Pink also scents: rose hips, pink pepper and cinnamon. In the mouth it is fine and sharp, mineral and alive, still very young. Wake tasty and fresh, the final wriggling and saline. Liked so much: to be kept in the cellar another 5 years minimum to get an idea of what will be. The premises are excellent.

Very elegant nose of crispy red fruits, fresh rose petals, violet. Only after a while a wide virility of spices is revealed. Finally a balsamic not comes out. Balanced and harmonic at palate, fine and elegant. From a very good but not so hot vintage, it gives the impression of a young wine very enjoyable now, but that has all the carachteristics to improve with age.

Visita produttori a Barbaresco (Barbaresco) : an idea of violet and wilted rose, candied cherry, wild strawberry and current. a touch of balsamic, signature licorice, cloves, star anise and an impression of tobacco. Fully fresh but round at palate tannin almost fully integrated, long finish that helps you to remember that it is still young and has a great potential of evolution.

Naso fine, elegante, complesso e giovanile, che apre con frutti rossi freschissimi- lampone, fragola di bosco, ciliegia selvatica, ribes, seguito da un tripudio floreale di rose rosse e viole di campo. Nebbiolo : Mineralissimo, fumoso di brace, arancia sanguinella, un piacere da tenere in bocca. Sferico perfetto racconta molto bene il territorio del barbaresco. Ha uno stacco in avanti rispetto ai vini precedenti in termini di espressività e definizione.
