tasted side by side with the 2017 Dous Ferrados, same soil, same barrel regiment, same vintage characteristics, yet a totally different wine, far more lactic and unbalanced. doesnt seem to have the fruit to stand up to its texture and structure, still high acid but just doesnt have the flavor density to carry all of this extract and phenolic concentration
