A big wine. Delicious but big

Decanted for two hours. Bitter herbs, blood, graphite, olives, orange peel, Mediterranean scrub orange peel on the nose. Fruit backward, as I'd expect with some black cherries sticking out underneath. Medium + intensity of aromas. Flavors pretty consistent with the aromas. Dark and powerful, blackcurrant and blackberry, cloves and charcoal, really lovely aromas. The palate continues the theme, with bright acidity balancing very ripe tannin, big, broad and silky. This is a very serious, impressive wine. Plenty of life ahead, although it is very tasty already. A single-vineyard bottling only made in this vintage; 85% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault, 5% Grenache, 5% Carignan, vinified in the same way as the regular Bandol and the Cuvee Antoinette.

Benefits from a few hours decanting. Spicy, peppery mountainside herbs. Smooth and velvety. Layers of interest; tobacco and parma violet are hinted at, dark fruit and leather. Rollicking good stuff.

Dark, herbaceous with lots of licorice. Drink today or in +10 years, this has lots of aging potential still.

I was very impressed with this. Really multi layered - savoury, fruity (both distinct sweet cherry and darker brambly fruit), leather, minty, smoky, peppery - it really offers a full spectrum of aromas and flavours. It's still very primary, nevertheless it's approachable and not overdone. Plenty of life ahead of it.

Deep purple, deep tasting and resolutely interesting. Gamey and lightly peppered with tonnes of character. I feel different tastes reveal themselves in different mouthfuls and the dense structure of this wine is both challenging and enjoyable. Very good.

A blend of Mourvèdre (90%), Cinsaut (5%) and Grenache (5%). Aged for 18 months in large oak casks. 14,5% alcohol. Dense, concentrated and fully opaque blackish-red color with subtly purple highlights. The nose is positively unpolished, rustic and somewhat funky with intense aromas of ripe blueberries, gamey meat, some peppery spice, a little bit of juicy dark plum, light earthy notes of garrigue, a bretty hints of leather and barnyard and a touch of phenolic smoke. Wow, a really powerful wine. A dark red color. The nose explodes with fruity notes of black cherries, herbs from provence, soya and black olives. The taste is warm, round and full with firm tannins and with a very long finish. This wine is still very young. My advice would be to put away in the cellar for 5-10 years before consumption.

Pen fyldig vin som oppleves som tett og kompleks. Modne bjørnebær, mørke skogsbær og lett herbalitet på en lang utgang. Fin syre og faste tanniner. Mangler litt særpreg, men dette er en flott biffvin.
