Lilian & Sophie Bauchet Vin de France Amor Fati

The label says Lot 12 so I guess that it is the 2012 vintage. Hazy, ruby color. Still very youthful on the nose showing fresh red berries, violets, black olives and fresh grounded black pepper. There's a bit of kriek-like funk in the background. Slight fizzy on the palate with tart, cranberry-like acidity. Light bodied, no tannins to speak of and moderate intensity. Playful, quaffable and a nice drink in the summer heat but nothing memorable.
