["batch two/ small batch spanish sherry wood finish"] amber edging on ruby, savoury printers ink, hint fish sauce, blue peat smoke, heather, sea spray. palate is suitably nutty, restrained, sweet, introspective. Iodine, with a streak of white pepper. long enjoyable finish. watering reveals some white fruit, apple skins. oiliness breaks down somewhat, exposing woodsy characters, rock pool, and dry heather, with more spice on the finish, but also some apricot kernels.

Served neat. Dark, caramel in color, smoky, peaty and full of rich flavour. Very good scotch for the lovers of the style and with a lot of depth of flavour.
