Vibrant red, medium bodied, good fruit, subtle spice, background mint, chocolate and vanilla oak. A subtle taste of aniseed, fine tannins, acid in balance, nice oak and velvety smooth with excellent length. Still young and will cellar for at least another 5 years. 92+

2013 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (homebush & Darling Harbour) : {screwcap} Rich minty nose. This wasn’t a blind tasting, but honestly, this was exactly as I expected it to taste. Choco-berries and vanilla oak all combined to a classic Oz nose.
