I'm getting to this much later than other cellar trackers. Dug up a forgotten bottle from the wine fridge tonight. A clear medium ruby. The nose reminds me a lot of an entry level Burgundy with lifted cherries and some malo aromas. Fruit driven and flabby. My tastebuds are begging for acidity, any amount of acidity, which will surely improve it a gazillion-fold. Sadly lacking the structure to go with anything substantial food-wise.

Deep, dark, brooding Pinot with dark cherry, blackberries, a little chocolate and some spice. Good structure, excellent mouthfeel and long finish. I also agree that this is a cab lovers's Pinot, which is probably why I liked it so much. Drink now or hold for a few more years.

Waited over a year to try 2nd bottle, decanted an hr, nice crimson color, earthy nose with some raspberry, full mouthfeel, very long finish with acid/pepper, nice structure for fatty foods, increased rating 3 pts.

Very soft and refined. Rounded out raspberry, cherry complexion and a soft acidity. Enough bite to say Pinot but not tangy. Really decent especially after time to open up and soften.

Blackberry on the nose, with good density of black fruit on the palate. It is a touch soft but I think that makes it a good sipper. Good acidity, light tannin. - plush. Funny how another taster felt it was too acidic. I guess it depends on what you are used to. I like the "Pinot for a Cab drinker" analogy. This has density in flavor that is enjoyable. I guess it could age, but I'm inclined to drink up.

Medium garnet color, somewhat translucent. On open, gamey aromas with blueberry and raspberry, a hint of leather. Tastes very young, bold and very fruit forward at this point, bright red fruit, balanced acidity, tart on the midpalate with some raspberry liqueur and faint baking spice. Long finish, peppery and slightly tannic. After 30 minutes in the glass, it closes down and all you get is candied red fruit. But after an hour it opens back up, earthy notes reemerge along …
