Josef Biffar Deidesheimer Kalkofen Riesling Großes Gewächs

Hard to score this Spatlese Trocken. Searing acidity and seemingly un-evolved after 15 years, this is rather old fashioned wine that may age to grace with some decades of cellaring. I imagine it will go 50 years no problem. At the moment it is all steel, minerals and a touch of petrol. Impressive on its' way but certainly not enjoyable at the moment. Judgement reserved for me.
