Moderate ruby in the glass with some haze. Nose is fruit-driven, almost crunchy - freshly picked raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, some violets in there as well. Tasting this blind would lead me onto cru Beujolais, but this wine somehow really stands out in its own category. Medium-bodied, silky tannins, bright acidity. Long finish. A wine that makes you want to dance to Blue Monday.

13.5% ABV. Served by the glass into Kimura Piccolo glass (“Flower” day): Pale purplish ruby to the eyes. Purplish cherry and red berry fruits on the nose, florals. Minerality driven palate with lots of pure fruit and a little bit of fuller body from the likely higher alcohol content. 93-94 points.
