Bodegas y Viñedos Mengoba Bierzo Espanillo

well had this wine in Zalto Burgundy glas which did best from the tested glasses, all Zalto. The wine was decanted in Zalto Mystique. I found notes from blackberry , pencil graphite , and wet animal hide...those notes was both on the palate and nose...the wine drinks fine ...but i dont think its worth the money....as to mee it lacked some complexity.

I do like this; it is vibrant, light, yet quite intens with loads of chalk, minerality and a cool, red fruit. Very young. #Kandestederne

15% de Garnacha tintorera y algo de Godello. El resto es Mencía. Suelo de pizarra descompuesta con zonas arenosas, se trabaja de manera artesanal con tres pasadas con arados tirados por dos vacas. Crianza de 11 meses. Producción anual de 3.300 botellas y 300 magnums. Capa media alta. Color burdeos subido. En nariz tiene un toque mineral muy marcado y pimienta negra recien molida.
