My first Graciano, so I have no basis to judge. Score based on my personal preference and enjoyability over a two day drinking window. Pale purple in the glass. Nose is very herbal, with some red berry. Very thin, high acid. Simple, unexpressive on the palate. Would not buy again. EDIT: Just read that the 2021 vintage was poor so give another Graciano from a different year a try.

Medium ruby and glass, minimum opacity, medium plus alcohol based on viscosity. The nose has moderate concentration, bringing dark fruits with blackberry, black, cherry and blueberry alongside aromatic herbs and a touch of cedar. The pallet has moderately low concentration, predominantly fruit driven in the front with an herbal note coming through in the finish. The nose is much more expressive than the pallet is. Medium plus body, medium acid, medium tenon, medium minus finish.

Fruit driven. Fruity on the nose with blackberries and spices. Goes again on the palate which is quite dry with medium+ acid and medium tannins. Bitter notes and some mineral notes as Well adds complexity. Well balanced notes from oak. Good balance and lenght.

Unimpressed. It nice and grippy and had a nice plush black fruit palate, but finished flat with no complexity whatsoever. Happy to try my first Graciano though!

Herbal, blackcurrant bush, plum, and cinnamon. Fresh and fruity, with pronounced acidity. Serve slightly chilled, and it will be perfect as a thirst quencher on a hot day. Lacking perhaps some depth, but on the other hand it would not be fair to categorize it as simple. Very moreish, much more so than the 2019 Phelan Segur that I had next to it. Drink now - 2028.
