1h decant and poured into the bottle again. Elegant barolo, still youthful but already truly enjoyable. Classy hints of black currant with a iron-tar component on the nose. ~ $60 / bottle at Farina Raleigh. High abv- 15%, which makes it pretty approachable after a quick decant. Very expressive nose with florals and almost candied cherries and raspberries. Definitely modern but retains enough Nebbiolo characteristics to satisfy the old school Barolo-heads like myself. A little thin but still very nice.

Really accessible Barolo that is perfect to drink now (with 10mins in glass) to 2020 in restaurants. Not complex but complete. Pretty modern in style. Good lunch option in Alba.
