Benoit Ente 2011 Whites and Aleth Girardin 2008 Reds (Dig Wines, San Francisco) : Pale. The most floral of the 4 wines. Lighter weight with a fine filigree feel and more in the way of green apple than citrus. Like a Puligny with a chalkier base. It is monstrously expensive for a Blagny, but putting that aside, it is impressively elegant and well balanced.

Certainly floral with a touch of lemon and mineral. Rides the line between elegant and lithe, but I hedge toward the later. Good, but not at this price (or with this much air). Light bodied, medium plus acid, moderate finish.
