Complex aged pinot noir that shows plenty of secondary and tertiary aromas but still has red fruit to offer. The tannins are very smooth at this point. I think it could even age for a few more years, although it is perfect to enjoy now. Rated 93 points.

Medium to dark garnet colour. Medium to full body. Mixed berry compote, cherry pit, iodine, forest floor aromas, light coffee, and intense Pinot spice, with good acidity, well-integrated tannin, and very good length. Medium complex, with good balance and good concentration, and a smooth, creamy texture. Needs three hours of aeration to round of the edges and find its balance. Drink or hold.

At the peak now. However, lacking the complexity of the best examples.

Have had this wine before, therefore familiar with its aromatic profile, beautifully scented berry aromas and a very masterful integration with oak. This bottle, however, appeared somehow old and way over the hill. Oxidised, brownish, with faded fruit, tannins and oak left. Strange.

Very strange taste, from a strong radish to a white-wine-like acidity, to a quite normal state, but still far from the experiences before. Obviously flawed. Even decanting won't help. What a pity!

1.5 L bottle, turkey BBQ weekend early Oct 2012: classic Burgundy red color; intense strawberry, raspberry and flowers plus hints of red currant; medium body; round, juicy texture. Great Pinot Noir: fruity and well-balanced.

Red fruit, silky texture, a little earthiness, well integrated acidity, medium to long finish. I cooled it a little (18 °C), because when I had it last time in the restaurant it showed a little heat. Outstanding quality, QPR ok at € 17,90.
