Lush dark fruit and old vine earthiness!

Popped and poured this beauty after a long Monday. The first sip was big, rustic, almost overly tannic, but within minutes it began to soften and a juicy plush character began to emerge, yet never quite beating out the rustic nature of this wine (think Sam Cooke, Otis Redding...).
