Opened for Thanksgiving. N wild strawberries, white peach, herbs, minerals P wild strawberries, pomegranite, nectarine, herbs, minerals F above average in length, good mouthfeel, above average acidity. Overall a fantastic bottle of pinot based rose, really enjoyed this and it went well with all of the food options. 4

Intro to Chicago; 7/30/2025-8/2/2025 : One glass chilling in the AirBnB before we went out for the evening. Pretty sophisticated rosé a little more relaxed on the acids (but don't read this as flabby) showing raspberry, peach and a little chalk. Very elegant. I have 2 remaining bottles and will try spacing them out over the next 4 years.

Pours a pale cranberry. Rather closed aromatically with just a hint of red apple skin, watermelon, and freeze dried strawberries. The palate is more alive with a pleasing interplay between the residual sugar and racy acidity helping cut through the former. With the passing of time the concentration intensified considerably.

I love hotdogs so I drank this while eating hotdogs. Yumm! Color: salmon orange Nose: upon opening I got a wiff of fresh and fruity strawberries. Smell was wonderful. Smell in glass was cherry? I can't speak highly enough about these wines when they have at least a few years of age on it. Still fairly tight when first opened but Blood orange, rose petals, cherry liquer, buoyant almost marshmallowy texture. Just my favorite rose in the world. I wish I could get it by the case, but Ill take the random bottle here and there I can find. Cheers

Ok I guess but not the usual Cotat fireworks. Seems a little simple and flat. Some pretty grapefruit pith notes to it, and it's crisp, but feels like generic Sancerre rose, which is usually not the case with this bottling.

Very complex rose with a nice salmon hue in the glass. One the nose: lots of the red fruits, pomegranate, and an herbal element that played nicely with the minerality of wine. Tart and fresh, but will continue to age. I think Cotat's rose's are great with an extra year of age, but can age even longer. This is a rose for thinkers.

Really crisp bright nose bursting with crunchy red fruits and cut with some mineral. It has a fresh herbal note and builds through the palate with more detail and presence than a rose generally has the right to have. It finishes with excellent precision and length is very good.
