Green apples, white pear, hint of peach. lovely acidity and energy. Clean and pure but so tightly wound the richness shows more with air. Enjoyable but needs a few years of rest.

Perrières Tasting: Mostly Meursault Whites, plus Méo-Camuzet Reds (The Winefool - Chicago IL) : Popped-and-poured, this was much more accessible vs when tasted one year ago. No reduction this time, just an enchanting aromatic start that is floral with both tart and ripe apple character. Palate is slightly less complex, but balanced and fun. The austerity from last year is gone, this is drinking well already now.

Big matchstick and orchard fruit nose. Rich, round fruit with a nice intense minerality. Stuffed with fruit and structure. Very good now and even better in a few years.

Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Virtual Tasting (Planet Earth) : Reductive start ever-so-slowly dissipated, but was still noticeable after two hours in glass. Intriguing combination of lemon peel, dried apricot and toasted walnut with ultra bright acidity and even brighter minerality. Lots here, slightly tart and tight right now but impressive potential, 92-93 point potential, better 2022-2030.
