Gonzales Wine Company Malbec Cecchini Family Vineyard

Rather more lifted than I expected as well. Doesn't taste all that much like Malbec to me, but I guess this is the new style. Just opened - getting darker.

Deep garnet robe. Capsicum, dark fruit, high-toned red fruit (currant), graphite nose. Light body, fine acids +soft tannins. Exquisite balance and structure. Earthy dark fruit attack opens to supple dark cherry and red plum mid palate.Brooding finish. The most elegant malbec I’ve tasted to date. Drama. Tension. Like a Tango dancer in a glass.
