Viña San Pedro Epica

I'm not an extremely experienced wine drinker but I don't find this to be so unpleasant as the other posters below.. It's very fruity and a bit sweet, but still gulpable and enjoyable enough..

This is like being in high school or college and hooking up with a girl just because the timing was right. Perfume too sweet, puts out too much (alcohol content) and you know before you start that you'd probably forget it's/her name in the morning if you were slightly less shallow. Not for serious wine consumption.

Cabernet shows on the nose. Green pepper with a hint of mocha. Bright red fruit flavors, especially sweet raspberry. Noticeable amount of residual sugar on the finish. Smooth finish. Vanillin. Another "easy drinking smooth red blend". Not very good with food. Suppose it's good to chug for those who don't like wine.

Good color, nose a little off - has that green, bell-pepper smell that many wines from Chile have. On the palate it is very, very soft and fruity, with a lot simple fruit flavors. The label says this wine "explodes with flavors of savory cherry and dark cocoa," but I didn't taste that. Just a lot of jam and a little residual sweetness, particularly on the finish.
