By the glass. Another single varietal bottle of Monastrell in the portfolio of this winery. It ages sixteen months in French (30%) and American (70%) oak barrels. 15.5 ABV. Mix of notes of ripe red berries and balsamic memories of fresh tobacco. On the palate it is glyceric, unfathomable and with much structure. It lacks sufficient acidity to balance. zH) Schönes klares Dunkelrot, leicht rötliche Aufhellung an den Rändern. Zurückhaltende Nase mit Pflaumen und etwas Teer. Am Gaumen starker Auftritt mit viel schwarzer Frucht und 15% alc. Schöne Tempranillo-Süße, ausreichende, aber milde Säure. Bleibt ein wenig auf der Marmelade-Seite hängen (was nicht negativ gemeint ist) ohne komplexe (tertiäre) Aromen, außer etwas Anis (G), das im Verlauf nach vorne kommt.
