Vadin-Plateau Champagne Grand Cru Heritage

Champagne In My Backyard : Served blind. This poured very frothy. Fleshy with lots of citrus, spicy fennel, tangy stone fruit and what I perceived as a high oak signature (not sure of the elevage).

Served blind. Label lists 'Dosage Zero'. Lots of color here. Mature like nose, rich with notes of honey. Sweet palate. Tart and weak at the finish. The nose really pulled me in though. Its almost like two different wines.

Blind Champagne at FMIII's : Tasted blind. Smells aged and spicy. Strong, bouncy, acidity. Tastes well-aged. Fruit presentation is dense, and tastes as if it's Chard., or Chard.-dominated; little bit of woodsy and sherry character. Drink Now. Excellent. My favorite of the tasting for drinking today, notwithstanding my surprise a '14 tasted this advanced --- I sooner would have guessed '04 than '14.
