Nase: tropische Früchte, Apfel/Birne, etwas Stachelbeere/Holunder, gut. Mund: bitter, fett, sauer. Hat viel Sonne gesehen. Solide für einen Supermarktwein.

Same sentiments as prior bottle commentary.. This wine is just ok, but many better gewurztraminers out there. A few more bottles and a few more spicy stir fry's with which to quaff this wine into oblivion and move on. PS- Drink the Rainbow!

All the typical gewurztraminer traits. Lychee, apricot pear. Minerals or slightly flinty. Nice ‘Südtiroler Gewürztraminer’ but not as aromatic as I expected it to be. Pale golden-yellow in color and a flowery nose of rose petals, lilies, nectarine and some hints of ginger and orange peel. The viscous palate offers juicy gooseberry and tropical fruit, a slightly velvety texture and a medium intense acidity. Harmonious, light honeyed finish. Very fresh and crisp, different from an Alsatian gewurz. Just ripe lychee, minerality, stone fruit. Lovely example

Consistantly a killer Gewürztraminer!. Appearance: Clear, medium gold. Nose: Clean, exotic fruit, pitted fruit. Palate: Full bodied. Neither sweet nor dry. Peach, apricot, lychee. Long long finish.
