Medium body and very dry. A bit rough with sharp tannins. An everyday wine.

Solid Tuesday night drinker but it struggles to remove some rough edges.

Good structure, melty tannins; nice example of Margaux at just $30

Not as dramatic as the last two on the nose but with that beautoful graphit structure to it.

Quality very high Great mouthfeel Medium body Spice and earth forward I expected more complexity from Margaux at this price point and vintage. This is a very tidy and clean wine (if I had tasted this blind I might have guessed this was a Cal. Bordeaux blend that went for $75+)

Straight up medium to full bodied pleasure. Nose of cedar, mulling spices and dark fruit and floral notes make up a rich nose that is definitely Margaux. Front of tobacco, blackberry, licorice up front. Mid palate shows satiny tannins with subtle tack. Notes of balsam wood, strawberry like fruit. Dark chocolate and more licorice like spice on the finish. This is what a bargain wine really is, and I will continue to buy.

Bought from Sainsbury’s about a year ago, good crunchy red Bordeaux in a youthful fresh style. I would enjoy these as they are now rather than keep them. *** for what it is.

Light, easy to drink, innocuous, almost quaffable generic Bordeaux, decent balance between fruit and minerals. Meant to be consumed over the short term!

Dried flowers, spice and currants pop up in the bouquet. Medium-bodied, soft, ripe and earthy with a core of chewy, red fruits, licorice and chalky tannins, this is an insiders secret wine from the ever increasingly, expensive appellation that still sells for a very, friendly price. Savvy wine lovers should take a good look at this wine. Drink from 2023-2035.

Deep in color, the wine shows its bouquet of black currants, smoke, licorice, wet earth and oak notes easily. Lush, fleshy, ripe, and round, the fruit is fleshy, sweet and richly textured, finishing with loads of ripe blackberry notes on the mid-palate and finish. Clearly, this is a step up in class since the new owners took over. 91-93
